This is a most versatile bark. It can be used as a very competent soil conditioner adding beneficial humus into the soil and improving structure. Having the appearance and qualities of peat it improves nutrient and moisture retention whilst adding beneficial cytokinins into the root area. As well as soil amelioration it can be used for compost incorporation into perennial tree and shrub compost mixes at the desired rate. |
